Intensive Outpatient Rehab | IOP Group Therapy | AspenRidge

One of the most important aspects of group therapy is connecting and relating to others in the program. That’s why AspenRidge Recovery offers two Intensive Outpatient Programs–Community IOP and Professional IOP–designed to provide the right level of care and a connected group of recovered people with similar life experiences.

What is a Community Intensive Outpatient Program?

We’ve designed the Community Intensive Outpatient Program (CIOP) to create a supportive therapeutic environment for the entire community. Typically, the individuals in the program are younger and haven’t yet started careers, but everyone is assigned to groups based on individual circumstances. By connecting individuals with similar experiences, the dynamic strengthens and fosters strong connections. When the group functions better, the outcomes improve, and clients build stronger foundations for recovery.

Our community CIOP lasts up to 90-days and an ideal option if you are transitioning from a residential treatment program or a partial hospitalization program or cannot obtain treatment during the day.

Why It Works

The program is less intense than our Day IOP–which provides 30 hours of therapy per week–but still provides structure and continued care. At the same time, individuals gain a better understanding of the root causes of their addiction. During Evening IOP, people can work, attend school, and fulfill their family obligations. At this point in treatment, people begin to develop confidence in their sobriety and continue working on the path to recovery.
