It can be challenging to choose the treatment program that’s right for you. There are so many names and acronyms flying around that it can be hard to know what’s what. There’s residential, inpatient, PHP, intensive outpatient, and even a few more. It can be confusing to navigate all of your options, but AspenRidge Recovery believes that each person and situation is unique and requires a personalized treatment plan. We’re here to create a plan for your long-term success, even if you don’t start your journey with us.
What is a Partial Hospitalization Program?
PHP can sound intense because it stands for the partial hospitalization program, but don’t let the name scare you. There’s no hospital involved! It’s just an industry term, and PHP is our highest level of care. It’s a middle ground between residential and an outpatient program, and it provides optional housing support without 24-hour physician care. It’s the first step in our continuum of care and great for those needing a little extra support. PHP is designed to stabilize and establish a firm foundation of recovery, so you can transition to our lower levels of care and acclimate back into the community. The program provides intensive therapy in group and individual settings. We also offer an optional sober living option to provide a safe, supportive, and accountable environment to do the work necessary to get and stay clean and sober.
